  • Wonderful, attentive, old-fashioned service and they remembered that I had been in the shop a few days earlier.. Beautiful high quality products made it hard to choose. And I will definitely shop there again.
  • This place sells the real thing: quality-made leather items. I don't have a lot of experience with pricing these products but I got a purse I love at a price that felt reasonable to me. The owner here brought out different colors and options so I could find just the right bag but without any sales pressure. He showed me how to look for details that show the quality of the workmanship in the bag and how to see where it was made. He was very kind and patient throughout the process and I walked away with a beautiful piece I will treasure. If you want to get away from the junk leather right outside the door, step in here.
  • A lot of fake leather shops on the side streets but this place sells quality real Italian. Chiarugi briefcase I got was 80 more in two other florence shops.
  • We had the best service ever when we happened to find I'Mago on our walk thru San Lorenzo! We could not ask for better service and our purchases were loved by all our family!! Thank you so much for such a fond memory!
  • nice bags, nice service, very nice price.

Where to stay in Florence

Variety is not a problem when deciding where to stay in Florence. The compact town center is packed with hotels, hostels, and small inns. The drawback of this upmarket central area is that even family-run B&Bs often cost as much as luxury hotels. For more affordable lodgings, explore the area outside the tourist-driven city center. Staying in one of the city's residential neighborhoods allows you to immerse yourself in the daily life of local Florentines. B&Bs and hotels outside the center offer private parking and spacious rooms, all within walking distance of the main tourist sites.
