  • Found this little shop online. Used Maps to find it pretty easily. Was not expecting much, as I was surprised by the size of the store. It is quite small. But, as they say, great things come in small ...  more »

  • Average selection. Prices are pretty affordable but nothing that really stands out in the sea of italian made shoe stores.
  • I been going to Goccia for years, Micaela and Nino custom made all my shoes and my wife shoes. Goccia is professional service and awesome prices. If you want quality Italian shoes custom for your feet, go to Goccia and you will find what you need. You will be more than happy and you will get the best deals. Save your time and your money go there and you will thank me for this review.
  • Best shoe selection and shoe shopping experience in Florence! No, actually anywhere in the world! I have been shopping with Nino and Micaela at Goccia for years. I visit Florence at least twice a year and I always shop at Goccia. Micaela has an eye for style, quality and trends and the selection shows. Nino can bring the making of the shoe you are about to buy to life! I don't think I have ever left the store without at least 3 pairs - some handmade or custom made to my specifications and some not. My favorite, most stylish, comfortable, and most inquired/commented (all in awe!) shoes or boots in my closet come from Goccia!
  • Nino and Micaella, owners of the shop, we're charming and friendly. My husband and I each purchased beautiful Italian made shoes
  • Extremely cheap quality obviously made to rip off tourists!

Where to stay in Florence

Variety is not a problem when deciding where to stay in Florence. The compact town center is packed with hotels, hostels, and small inns. The drawback of this upmarket central area is that even family-run B&Bs often cost as much as luxury hotels. For more affordable lodgings, explore the area outside the tourist-driven city center. Staying in one of the city's residential neighborhoods allows you to immerse yourself in the daily life of local Florentines. B&Bs and hotels outside the center offer private parking and spacious rooms, all within walking distance of the main tourist sites.
