  • I visit with a cultural group modern Gallery in Palazzo Pitti in Sunday of "museums". But just opened ... no! With surprise and displeasure, we discover that the halls of the Macchiaioli are closed. A security attendant of salt justifies the closure "for lack of staff". Weird, you can't tell with all the guardians that we saw in service many times in two and "neighbors" in the same room. However the wealth of works extraordinary offering the gallery we filled our eyes and minds of beauty and passion, and so the disappointment proved for that closing soon disappears.

  • This is something different than work from the Renaissance. These are works from the romance. This Gallery Is part of Palazzo Pitti.

  • Almost certainly not going to anything about my review to those who manage palazzo Pitti, though I think it's useful to warn travelers of the degradation that has been raging for several years: the most important part of gam in Florence (macchiaioli included, works that put on display around Italy have attracted thousands of visitors) is closed for "lack of staff". I have been here several times since 2008, always the same story, I never got to see those halls. You will not be advised of what in ticketing, I had also phoned preemptively "opened, everything open, good morning," but nothing. No sign at the entrance, you'll notice inside. As written by several reviews here on tripadvisor the keepers there exist, in small group at the entrance to chat as if they were at the bar. Bulbs, sounding alarms at random, bad smell. Bad organization, you should be ashamed and close the second floor of palazzo Pitti, and pay the masterpieces of 800 to some private institution able to exploit them, or at least able to make them visible.

  • A very nice place for people who like this kind of stuff!
  • Strongly recommended! It is a Museum in the shadow of the Uffizi but really delivers world class art works of medieval and Renaissance Italian and international artists such as Raffaello Sanzio. To visit!

  • Personal taste, the route was just "interesting" ... Place a lackluster and with little light, they could bring out better the Museum and works.

  • Badly laid out and works with most valued.
