Definitely worth a visit if you have children with. We were there for about 1 hour with our son and daughter respectively 5 and 8 years. Everyone was wild with the store, and we came also out there from with a large stuffed shopping bag.

The old shop, he raised several generations of Florentines: my grandfather used to take me when I was little and this morning I went to find the gift for my nephew who turns 2 years old! There is a magic atmosphere recommend a visit!

  • Great toy & model store tucked away in this busy part if the city. Lots of selection and a friendly staff made shopping here a great part of our trip!
  • A big toy store with an excellent selection, from models and miniatures to halloween masks. For tourists with kids it can be an exciting stop, especially that they have two lego stations where you can just sit and build something. It can end up as a costly stop :), but considering there aren't many playgrounds in Florence, it works as an enthusiasm boost for the little ones.
  • Can find lot of toys, lot of range.
  • A large toy store with a lot of great toys (for American tourists, a lot of brands you don't see in the States). They had a good selection of dolls, stuffed animals, games, models (for bigger boys), as well as playmobile and lego rooms. We got our daughter a gorgeous doll; I wish I had been able to take home some of the playsets and games for Santa to bring. VAT tax station in the store.
  • Purchased board games for a gift. Left in the shop to do the packages with calm, I told you I'd brush up in the afternoon. Already when I came I was not considered none and I served myself. Then thank you so much for letting all prices. Unspeakable

Where to stay in Florence

Variety is not a problem when deciding where to stay in Florence. The compact town center is packed with hotels, hostels, and small inns. The drawback of this upmarket central area is that even family-run B&Bs often cost as much as luxury hotels. For more affordable lodgings, explore the area outside the tourist-driven city center. Staying in one of the city's residential neighborhoods allows you to immerse yourself in the daily life of local Florentines. B&Bs and hotels outside the center offer private parking and spacious rooms, all within walking distance of the main tourist sites.
