  • a cemetery also very important from a historical point of view, it's still very nice to visit

  • Impressive cemetery initially for citizens of Switzerland, known as the English Cemetery. Suggestive; well groomed, located in piazzale Donatello and reachable on foot from the Centre by public transport. Within the cultural personalities of the 19th and 20th centuries are buried, you can also visit the grave of e. Barrett Browning.

  • Small, but excellent Protestant, well kept cemetery. It is one of the most beautiful I've seen. And I know enough. The lush vegetation is mixed with graves, providing that aspect of the garden so the taste of the British cemetery, although it is a well-kept garden in the French style.

  • On the ancient place of the florentine's wall, one of the wonderfull pearl of the necklace around Florence. History, mistery, literature, and the rest of the ancestors.
  • Such a shame that this cemetery had been neglected for years. I admire the people who are trying to restore it. I can only hope in time that people will come together for restoration of what once was a beautiful cemetery with so many important people that gave so much to the world. Was nice to see where Elizabeth Barrett Browning was buried.
  • Small cemetery but especially because of its location in the middle of the avenues, March turns purple because blooming irises.

  • Fantastic accatolico cemetery nestled between the avenues of Florence. To visit during March when a blast of purple irises cover the whole area.
