  • This church was the church of Amerigo Vespucci familiare. there is a beautifull Pala of Giotto, the tombs of Vespucci, Botticelli and Carolina Bonaparte (sister of Napoleone and wife of Joackim Murat)...  more »
  • In a visit to the historic center of the city of Florence, it is not always possible for the tourist for a day to stop his walk home in this church, which however contains major works by artists who have marked the history of the Tuscan city, such as Botticelli, Giotto, Ghirlandaio. It is worth the visit.

  • A visit very impressive and particular. The Church, which is run by the order of the Franciscans of the Immaculate, originally from the end of ' 200 has undergone several renovations/restorations, with strong influences of Florentine Baroque. The Vespucci family, owned several properties in the area of all Saints including this church in which were accepted the remains of the Navigator Amerigo and Simonetta Vespucci is considered the most beautiful woman of the time so that the Botticelli the birth of Venus is depicted in that in the spring. The Botticelli himself is buried in the Church and who expressed the wish to be buried at the foot of Simonetta. The artworks preserved in the Church are notable: the Crucifix of Giotto's recently restored and placed at present within the left transept cockup in the Chapel, two beautiful murals facing each other: Sant'Agostino of Botticelli and Ghirlandaio's Saint Jerome. In the cloister next to the church there are frescoes by Ligozzi and from there you access the refectory that houses a fresco of the last supper by Ghirlandaio, a subject common to many refectories of monasteries in the city. Of this work is preserved even the sinopia.

  • Really beautiful church. By far not the most famous in town but I recommend its visit. The way the perspective is shown on the ceiling is amazing.
  • Beautiful.
  • Gorgeous interior of frescoes, statues and crucifixes. A surprise gem of Florence.
  • ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FRANCISCAN PLACE IN FLORENCE!!!
  • Beautiful painted cross by a follower of Giotto
