  • This church, like the Ognissanti Church, is a church for a few ... This church define Church "niche", for real connoisseurs. Out from traditional and stereotypical tourist itineraries, this church embodies unique artwork, only to be admired. Of the original church only the Romanesque façade, beautiful. Whenever we pass from Florence this church, along with a few others, we visit ever. There is the absolute masterpiece by Domenico Ghirlandaio, Sassetti Chapel, perfectly preserved frescoes depicting the stories of Saint Francis and the tomb of Sassetti and consort, built by Giuliano da Sangallo. But this story I've written in previous review .... A terracotta attributed to Donatello, the tomb of Benozzo Gozzoli, one of the greatest artists of the Renaissance, decorated by Luca della Robbia. The coronation of the Virgin by Bicci di Lorenzo, dated 1430. What do you want? Unmissable!

  • The Basilica of Santa Trinita Church, or rather of Florence is one of the most important and ancient churches of Florence. The Church of Santa Trinita is truly an interesting works to be seen, most preserved in several chapels within it. Really to visit rich in the right transept is the beautiful Sassetti Chapel, frescoed by Ghirlandaio (1480) with episodes from the life of St Francis ', set in Renaissance Florence.
