Where to stay in Florence

Variety is not a problem when deciding where to stay in Florence. The compact town center is packed with hotels, hostels, and small inns. The drawback of this upmarket central area is that even family-run B&Bs often cost as much as luxury hotels. For more affordable lodgings, explore the area outside the tourist-driven city center. Staying in one of the city's residential neighborhoods allows you to immerse yourself in the daily life of local Florentines. B&Bs and hotels outside the center offer private parking and spacious rooms, all within walking distance of the main tourist sites.

  • Great stadium and amazing people to party with.. soccer is religion in Italy and fiorentina have shown that.
  • We had a fantastic day at the stadium watching Fiorentina-Genoa. The stadium is very nice and surrounded by lots of places where you can get some food or a drink before a game. The stadium is only about a 1.5 Mike walk from the main tourist area and it is nice to see the non-tourist area of Florence. If you are in town when Fiorentina is playing it is definitely worth it to get so e tickets for a game. There are a few box offices right around the stadium where you can buy tickets or there is a kiosk at the Central market that sells tickets too. The games are great for everyone. While at the game we saw lots of families with infants and kids.
