  • We were walking from the Centre and it was a beautiful walk of about 20/30 minutes worth. Both the Interior and exterior are wonderful and the view of the city is even more beautiful than that of Piazzale Michelangelo. Not to be missed!

  • I was lucky enough to attend the evening mass. It's an unparalleled building sticking out like a gem among other ancient monuments. Important works of religious art surrounded by a serene and mystical. Not to be missed

  • One of the few churches in Florence which has free entry, lying in one of the tallest in the city landscape is priceless which can see before our eyes, almost as if they dominate the city. It has a beautiful and interesting crypt of the 11th century, besides a monastery adjoining the Church itself. Place that definitely deserves to be visited.

  • I had a great experience here! Came up to watch the sunset and it was beautiful. The grounds are well worth a look at as well, through it I discovered some neat viewing platforms! It's quite nice to get away from the tourist hustle and bustle. The church closes for mass after lunch and doesn't reopen until 3 or so, so bear that in mind when planning your visit! Only a few minutes down from the Michelangelo piazza, yet positively deserted in comparison. You won't find guys trying to sell selfie sticks here! However, there is a little church-run souvenir shop which sells postcards, drinks, plus some other nice things, not just your generic trinkets.
  • A wonderful Abbey, try to arrive so you can have a visit as the interiors are closed when the monks are in prayer. And make sure to visit the winery, for a tasting and conversation with the wonderful Luca while you try their delicious wine and liquors.
  • It was magical and the view was breath taking. I know I'm being dramatic, but I have to be dramatic to even come close to explaining how much I loved it here.
  • Well worth the trek up the hill. Go inside the church it's stunning.
  • Magnificent palce! This place has a lot of very beatiful art and history.
