  • This is one of the most ancient temples of the city. The Church was built in Romanesque style. I this year for the first time got to it by public bus, didn't want to climb the mountain. Before always climbed on foot. The magnificent façade typical of the ancient temples of Florence. Inside the temple seems bleak. But a little more accustomed to the darkness you immediately pereklûčaeš′sâ on ancient frescoes-13 14 centuries, that adorn the walls of the Church. Riding the perfection of Renaissance architecture and sculpture is a Portuguese Chapel of cardinal in the left nave. What exact proportions, exact dimensions. Painting and sculpture of the great masters only magnifies the effect. The apse of the Cathedral is decorated with ancient mosaics. If you climb up the stairs from the right aisle, you can get at sakristiû. All the walls are decorated with frescoes Spinelo case Aretino c. Benedict late 14th century. From the nave to the 11 century crypt. From this Church offers beautiful views across Florence.

  • Slightly too much touristic but still one of the most interesting church of the city I think! We visit this church with our Art teacher and she told us the amazing story of the foundation of the church. Don't rush, spend some good time enjoying the silence of the cripta and the wonderful view from the monumental cemetery!
  • The Church of Saint Minas (Miniato) who was an Armenian is a powerful sacred place possessing incredible waves of soothing energy, peace and magical power. It is a divine blessing to experience.
  • It would be a crime to come to Florence and not come here for the breathtaking view of he city! And it's completely free (minus the calories you burn on the way which given all the pizza you've been eating is a probably a good idea).
  • Very underrated place, its quite amazing one of the real must see in firenze. You dont pay anything at the entrance and actually has a lot better view than piazzale Michaelangelo. Church also very old but really in good condition. Do not miss
  • Well worth the 20 minute climb up the hill to get to this very underrated attraction. The church is somewhat scenic and surrounded by lush greenery with a view of Florence. For a somewhat different kind of church, pay this place a visit.
