Fiordo di Furore Reviews
We walked down to the Fiordo di Furore from our hotel (Holidays Fico d'India), and it was a very long and steep walk (a little scary at times), but so worth it as soon as we saw this place! The water ... more »
È difficile da raggiungere, specialmente parcheggiare, fatevi consigliare dalle persone del luogo. Fateli tutti i gradini e ammirate lo splendore del Fiordo non solo dal ponte ma anche dalla Spiaggia.... more »It is difficult to achieve, especially Park, take some advice from locals. Let them all the steps and admire the splendour of the fjord, not only from the bridge but also by the beach. The Amalfi coast is one of the many pearls of Italy.
Luogo incantevole da vedere almeno una volta nella vita ma con delle attenzioni: Recarsi a piedi o con i mezzi perché il parcheggio è inesistente. Recarsi non nelle ore di punta( all'alba o al tramont... more »Great place to see at least once in your life but with attention: go on foot or by transport because parking is nonexistent. Don't go at peak times (dawn or dusk!) because the amount of sun loungers and umbrellas even walked. I think it is ridiculous that the municipal authorities give the grant to a private individual to occupy a space that would be everyone's heritage. Rather instead of charging for the sunbed and umbrella could charge a small entrance fee for holding back just a couple of dips and go! So the view would not be completely disfigured. And then it is not a place to stay there all day! Certain things just don't understand.
Not sure what's happened but the steps down to the beach are closed off (litterally brick walls blocking them) on both sides with warning signs not to enter. This didn't seem to be a total detractor as there were some people on the beach, but all the buildings are closed and in the early signs of disrepair. Overall looks like a ghost town.
The place is closed till 4th September due to falling rocks, I asked a workman over there. Great spot only option to go is to a rent a boat from a nearby beach.
Drove all the way to have a dip in these waters : ( unfortunately the places is closed for public as informed by the resturant owner due to some rock falling. But its really a breath taking spot ...
There are 2 ways to reach this place.. to save energy just access by the lower road.. we were facing difficulties to find this place and had to climb down hundreds of steps..had to climb up back to get our vehicle and that was sooo tiresome!!
