The Interior is stunning. Built before the 12th century, the church underwent destructions and reconstructions in later centuries. It is now a beautiful baroque church rich in decorations and worth a visit. Inside, one can admire the wooden choir behind the high altar and the four stone columns finals covered with pink marble. Remarkable also the beautiful white marble sculpture that supports the pulpit. Inside it is allowed to take pictures. We found open in the late afternoon, which is rare, and the entrance is free. It's in the pedestrian zone but parking is a short walk away, at the entrance of Finalborgo.show original

The church underwent renovations that have been made by the majority of places of worship born before 600, now has a baroque look but it had to be beautiful even earlier.
