  • Il Parco Massari, with an entrance from Corso Porta Mare and another from Corso Ercole I d'Este, is the most central green area of Ferrara; Despite not having huge size and not standing out by features particularly evident, it is so peaceful and relaxing (also given the attendance is not excessive), and has some fine specimens of tall trees that make up a beautiful palette of colours in autumn. Also includes a children's play area, a small fountain and a bar.

  • As a kid it seemed immense, today a little less, it is still quite large with an area of about 4 hectares. From the end of ' 700, was clearly a private park designed by architect Luigi Bertelli, apparently this was adorned with sculptures that are no longer on site. In the mid-19th century a family of accounts, Massari, bought it and turned it into a landscaped gardens which has retained part of its design even today it is owned by the city, and is a beautiful public park. You can relax between trees like a cedar of Lebanon ancient, gated, or Ginko, you can stroll down the central fountain. There are those who argue that have inspired the writer from Ferrara Giorgio Bassani in the writing of "Il giardino dei Finzi Contini".

  • The best public park in Ferrara. Ideal for a relaxing afternoon reading a book or eating and drinking something under the threes shadow. There is a small bar inside so you can buy basic things there without walking a lot.
  • Ferrara definetely is not for dogs. You can not enter into any public park with them. Very sad!
  • È un parco. Tranquillo.
  • Centennial Park with its towering Cedars of Lebanon in the midst of a unique vegetation. Excellent lung from fresh and intimacy to those who attended. Sin is small but more average proportions can not. It remains, however, an excellent Park.

  • The Park is truly vast, but during events such as the "Vulandra" or "Baluns" always fills. Great place to have a picnic, lots of green and little fuss.
