  • You will probably most to see the archaeological museum, which is wrapped up in this ancient palazzo, but the facades, the courtyard and the garden are also attractions in themselves.

  • Antonio Costabili in 1500 on behalf and with the funds of Ludovico il Moro, who was at war against Charles VIII and thought he could find a refuge in Ferrara (homeland of his wife Beatrice d'Este) because he knew that in Milan the tidied the "gallows". The siege of Novara Ludovico il Moro fell captive by the French and imprisoned in the castle of Louches of Berry and died, while a prisoner was visited the Costabili and having no hope of return free gave the Palace. The direction of the work of Biagio Rossetti was until 1503 and when he left for Florence left the job to others who abandoned it the following year. Unfinished Palace on Via XX Settembre, Via the façade is nearly complete. The painted decoration is striking in the "treasure room" frescoed by Garofalo, whose workers have accomplished the "sala delle storie di San Giuseppe" and "Sala delle Sibille" with represented busts of prophets and sibyls. It houses the archaeological museum with exhibits of plug, from the 1920 's in the State. Well worth the visit.

  • Beautiful frescoes and an interesting collection of ancient art.
  • So much to see! The Palace itself is nice, but inside there are showcased many antiques of classical origin, amphorae, jewelry, even two dugouts carved into tree trunks! All illustrated by panels with explanations. Top class
