  • Maybe I was tired of walking maybe I had just been to the Museum Schifanoia this museum I felt small as both a place like home decor, however, is just my opinion if you can go there

  • Two steps from the delizia estense of Schifanoia, the Lapidary Museum is really small, but well maintained. Housed inside the Church of Santa Libera, small Deconsecrated church building used to house the archaeological finds such as Roman marbles coming from Ferrara. In particular belong to graves as steles and tombs, including that of the Aurelii or child, from the necropolis of Lichfield. It is often associated with Schifanoia, with a single ticket.

  • A typical example of how interesting exhibits, well preserved and well exposed may prove devoid of attractiveness. A Roman tombstone with an inscription recounts the life and death of one or more persons and this is her main interest. Suffice it to say that one of these inscriptions tells the story of a baby who died after falling into a can!! If it is not adequately explained, and I mean with appropriate captions and graphically appealing, and not with outdated and obsolete terms, and synthetic panels with enhanced with sidelights to facilitate reading the result is what effectively exposed a reviewer before me: "only 2 graves!". And unfortunately, and I say this with regret, right!!
