  • We knew to meet Cosmé Tura, but we also found valuable tiles of the months and a Madonna and child by Andrea del Sarto and more. Council spending after seeing obviously Palazzo Schifanoia.

  • I was positively impressed visiting this facility, adjacent to the main square and the Cathedral of Ferrara. The visit consists of three separate times. A ticket upstairs than I am are exhibited manuscripts both sculptures. The second part takes place in the adjacent Church of San Romano where particular mention deserve the cycle of the months marble high reliefs taken from the Cathedral and the beautiful sixteenth-century tapestries. The most appreciated, however, the Madonna of the pomegranate, sculpture by Jacopo della Quercia, which alone is worth the ticket price. I recommend a visit and a souvenir picture even in the cloister. The structure can be visited for free with the card MyFe.

  • The Museum houses the collection of the Cathedral: miniatures, stone decorations, tapestries, paintings, etc. A part of the Museum is located in a former Church, and it is precisely in this area that focus the most important masterpieces: impressive, in particular, the cycle of the months and the organ doors painted by Cosimo Tura. Nice also the cloister. Overall, a little gem to be discovered!
