  • To strike directly at the Church of the monastery on the side and a man we open! Beautiful church, but interesting tour for lovers of history for the graves of some Dukes of Ferrara of the Este dynasty and especially that of the famous Lucrèce Borgia!

  • The complex is very nice to be able to access it you must play by the poor Clare nuns in the timetable. In the choir behind it there are numerous tombs of characters who are part of the House of Este, including Lucrezia Borgia. Cloistered nuns who greet visitors even through a grating give a real spiritual imprint and mysticism.

  • The visit is free, just knock on the door side and will be opened. A very friendly guardian has accompanied me and my daughter, letting us be your guide. Inside you can visit the six graves of some family members of the Este family, who at the time decided to be buried following the dictates of Gospel doctrine: humbly and simply. Very interesting.

  • Beautiful.
  • A place from classical architecture, the nuns are cloistered nuns but thanks to DO I had the chance to meet them, they are very nice! The highlight of this monastery is the miracle of the bread oven, where every year in March of loaves are prepared for the faithful
