  • If you pass by Ferrara, don't miss to visit Casa Romei. This Museum still confidential (enjoy) is worth a visit for at least three reasons: the interest of the presented collections that allow to embrace the history of art during the renaissance in Ferrara. The refinement of the Palace and its remarkable decorative elements which touching him small research firm. The passion of the curator finally and its fun to share the history and peculiarities of this unique place.

  • Not yet known by mass tourism, in the heart of the historic centre of Ferrara, this splendid residence, gem of architecture, presents itself to visitors as a magnificent example of middle ages and Renaissance Manor House. Built by the wealthy merchant Giovanni Romei towards the middle of the 15th, the House presents a particularly beautiful courtyard, where coexist perfectly typical medieval elements with other Renaissance. A visit to the House, made particularly enjoyable and interesting by friendly staff, is further enhanced by the visit to the Museum with a large number of frescoes from various churches suppressed in Ferrara and statues, plaques and other architectural decorations from city buildings; worth seeing is also a Madonna della scuola di Donatello simply touching.

  • Last week I had the opportunity to come back to visit, through my University, this wonderful home located in the heart of Ferrara (in one of the most beautiful in the old town, in my opinion). A unique building, wonderful courtyard, and decoration of the halls and arcades which are spectacular. It is also possible to see paintings and sculptures by great artists. Compared to a time has changed for the better and this thanks to a team of people passionate about their work and to a Director (who we met through this short visit/lesson) very good! Definitely will be back with more calm for a complete tour and will recommend to tourists and locals alike!

  • Interesting collection in a wonderful setting.
  • The Museo Casa Romei is a necessary and obligatory for all who are interested in undertaking a cultural route in Ferrara, not only tourists and visitors, but also citizens. The place is a real Pearl of the ' 400 ferrarese and certainly as unique in Italy. The staff is highly knowledgeable, extremely helpful and completely open (Director). I urge you to go there because it is becoming increasingly important catalyst and a stage for cultural events venue.
