  • located in the highest part of the whole, the Cathedral features the appearance of the whole town and is a destination for sightseeing but also a favorite of citizens who can enjoy the scenery and relax in the Park in front. Internally though not rich in works by part, still attracts and is well worth the visit

  • This time we couldn't visit the Cathedral because it is closed due to the damage caused by the earthquake. It can be visited only the crypt. We had visited in the past, this splendid basilica and well worth it. Should reopen in September. We hope ...

  • After a long uphill narrow streets we arrived at the Cathedral. Around you could admire a nice panorama of the vale. Then to our dismay we found the Cathedral closed for renovations was only accessible the crypt located in the back, but that's all

  • Starting from the front, which can be admired from the driveway, the Cathedral is well worth the effort it takes to make the salita di via Mazzini, piazza del Popolo to the Park of the Gyrfalcon. Impact on gateway, the rose window and the Interior. At the bottom there are the so-called "catacombs". Peace and quiet can be found sitting on the benches of the adjacent Park, which offers a nice view on the coast

  • Sacred and profane-The Gyrfalcon climbs from Piazza del Popolo, on foot and to the FORNIX of the Palazzo degli Studi. After the fountain, you'll quickly left the ramp leading to the apse of the Cathedral. Up here three "screens" are confronted. That sacred stone grave of the divine, and centuries. The profitable brick nineteenth century middle class, mild. The indifferent of little green contemporary has the sole merit to stand at 2. The façade of the Cathedral remains today the 13th mask of umbilicus Sign. The new factory built in 1700, with the Bell Tower, converted this front facing him in a standalone introibo, memory last comparison with Sforza keep also. If you were to put your hand to the dome, would agree to distance themselves the rear factory module incompatibility stylistic composition and physiological but not so much more, for here the form is living facies suffers the parasitic neoclassic. If we look at this as an ingredient not ostentatiously façade still and vertical, but as ingredients, it could appear like a big symbolum Carey white and blessing with his pastoral campanario. There opposite the façade of Villa sleeps with goals perennially impalpable Vinci concealed by his jealousy, impractical replacement of unhinged Sforza castle, which was the other head of the Acropolis a long form. That mat filler and tasteless herbs shaved, Ilex scapitozzati and crosciante you look dull gravel deposited here at misrepresentation of nineteenth-century English theory of urban green. What you enjoy from the Eastern balustrade is a fulfilling and measureless show about brands and the Balkan shore, but as an alternative and superior experience would be given to participate if the major flaw of the retainer was compensated with acroterion on competition of an imagination wholesomely impulsive!

  • From the Park to the structure, incredibly beautiful. From little guy I was ever in this area, have preserved their charm. I also suggest turning the Museum, the cost is quite low, but exposes much of the material that was once in the closets and "basements" of the Cathedral. Really an imposing structure. If I can post some pictures of palia and its blessing. Fantastic

  • The panoramic deserves 5 stars, but the internal reconstruction of the Cathedral misrepresents a bit around the site.

  • Very nice Cathedral and located at the top of the town, even the view is worth the climb
