  • It is an amazing place! Are the mummified bodies of men, women and children who lived in ancient times, each with their own history, you can still catch a glimpse of the different traits or clothing still visible ... arrived intact up to us! I consider them small fragments that emerge almost intact from a past that one can only imagine or read about in the history books. Eg. Chinese travelers died of plague, or the young betrothed buried with the dress of ceremony ... a trip down to Ferentillo truly deserves: read their stories, are affected! I haven't posted photos because it can't be done.

  • Lovely Museum! Super interesting and really super cheap ticket price! I find though that the mummies could be kept better in locations which might be better suited for the iron storage of mummies! Also I find it to be a museum that might interest but little noticed! I don't know who belong if the Church or to the municipality but should be enhanced has a lot of potential

  • It's a charming little Museum. In the cases are exposed all these mummies wearing still wearing highly visible signs of their lives: clothes of the time, in some cases, hair, beards, teeth and wounds. There are women, men, children, couples. and for each a description of the person or how they died or a particular, a curiosity. It is not a morbid thing, it's just interesting to see how the body can be transformed: those "things" were once alive, as who's watching at that time. The price is contained. To see. P.s. in Rome I visited the Museum of Leonardo Da Vinci: I paid three times and I just don't get a fifth

  • Somewhat eerie but... hey, that's also why we went. Other than that, it was very interesting and informative.
  • Spooky, yet very interesting museum. If you're not afraid of dead corpses...
  • Very impressive

  • Sounds interesting, but the number of guided tours in one day is not enough in my opinion.
