  • Nice find religioso_artistica, good availability on the part of the one "tenant", Don, to provide data and information for visiting the sanctuary

  • Located on a hill overlooking the hills feltrine and from which you can see the village of Feltre and its castle, the shrine of SS. Vittore e Corona is a discovery which deserves more attention and care. The outside doesn't betray anything about the wonder of the Interior of this enchanted place: frescoes from the fifteenth century onwards, a last supper fascinating, a sarcophagus of an old gentleman who is a masterpiece in itself. Preceded by a cloister garden with other frescoes on the thanks of the Saints to which the basilica is dedicated. Pity that, perhaps because of the budget, there is the right lighting and you are not able to fully exploit the Interior. All available-and perhaps a small entrance fee wouldn't hurt. Gem-unknown seeds (if you're not in the area).

  • The sanctuary of Saints Vittore and Horns is built around 1100 and became a convent in the late ' 400. Perched on a Crag of Mt. Miesna mountain, it dominates the Valley feltrina offering a splendid view over the beautiful city of Feltre and the Vette Feltrine, southernmost of the Dolomites UNESCO recognized component. The sanctuary you can get in the car, up above the entrance, or stopping at the beginning of the nineteenth century monumental staircase built by Giuseppe Segusini. The road, very pendant, is not dangerous as long as you traveled with caution and at a moderate speed (in winter properly equipped); Alternatively you can walk up, starting from the hamlet of Anzù and along a path well looked after in the forest, along which there are some capitals. The basilica holds the remains of Saints Victor and Corona in an ark built at the end of the 11th century with the same marble columns that surround it. By the thirteenth century the inner walls of the Church were decorated with numerous frescoes painted by different artists, including the representations is also a last supper with special Red prawns on the table in the lodge behind the Ark you can admire a wooden statue of Saint Victor in armor built between the end of the fifteenth century and the first years of the next century. According to tradition/belief is to sit on the Chair in the 13th century, which would have the power to heal Bishop's back pain. The sanctuary is the point of departure and arrival of the Cammino delle Dolomiti.
