  • A Sunday afternoon that has awakened with a great guide (Simone) that has awakened our interest and involvement in the history of battles fought in those places. Besides the exhibits are many, well recorded and well presented. A compliment to the volunteers who are carrying out with much interest and involvement with their work.

  • I had read about this Museum, but I didn't expect to find such a wealth of artifacts, uniforms, weapons, personal items, all original and very well exposed. A special mention to our guide (a volunteer named Claudio, if I remember correctly) that, although it was not opening, felt that we were specifically from afar he allowed entry and explained with great professionalism and even greater sympathy the history of the Museum and the painstaking search of memorabilia on display. A couple of hours flown in less than no time, that made us go over the events of the last year of the war in the area of the great river, and more generally in the area north of the Gothic line. I'm not ashamed to say that I was very ignorant on the subject, because unfortunately in school throughout the years ' 60, still had reticence to speak of World War II, and the programs they stopped virtually at First. Congratulations, really, to the city of Rijeka for wanting this museum.
