The Lago di Santa Croce is a semi-natural lake in the province of Belluno, Veneto, northern Italy, located between Farra d'Alpago and Santa Croce.The lake is located at 386m ASL and currently has an area of 7.2km², with an average depth of 33m.It was originally naturally a smaller lake, but was expanded with a dam during the 1930s.Outlets of the lake include the Piave.The area is quite a windy location and as such is a popular sailing, watersports and kitesurfing location.

  • I'd remember if it wasn't for the company grudgingly. Mind you, the Lake is a good show, the townsfolk love, friendly people but the water level of the Lake drops a lot this season and makes it a bit "unhealthy" in addition to remove the poem. The path then is not cured even though I think there was some project in the air for its maintenance.

  • Also said the Lake wind; I find this really wonderful Lake. You can have breakfast at one of the bars that overlook the Lake and swim or sunbathe on the beach which is located on the north side.

  • I was with my family this summer, was pretty breezy; the fact that it is surrounded by mountains makes this already attractive! The colors are beautiful, it's also convenient because you can relax having comfortable spaces around. I recommend it!
