From the narrow opening between the rocks which allows access to the Valley of Fara, a valley between the two large cliffs and the green vegetation fed by waters that are also bubbling fountains along the trail. The remains of the 13th-century Monastery inundated by a rockslide give the place an almost magical atmosphere, and then climbing the fissure of the Gorges before the houses of the town perched on the opposite Hill and then ascending even tranche over the country the deep blue Adriatic Sea. The berries of more mature now and the Thistle flowers, those of Margaret and the Bluebells will cheer your ascent. An ascent that depends on your strength because being able to (and with adequate equipment) from here you get almost three thousand metres up to the Summit of Monte Amaro to Massive!

I felt like I was at the entrance of Rivendell ...
Great walk across majestic limestone walls and oak forests, the trail called H1 goes as far as the top of the Majella mountain range (this latter part is for expert trekkers). A pic-nic area is at the start of the trail, with the River Verde springs nearby.
Nice landscape, but there is very little to do
Very very nice, it's all an area filled with breathtaking views.
