Trip Planner: Europe / Italy / Marche / Province of Ancona / Falconara Marittima / Parco Zoo Falconara
See animals from all over the world--from native Italian species to the rare and exotic--at Parco Zoo Falconara. Initially just a small park with a few domestic animals, the zoo now covers a large area and is home to dozens of species living in immaculately kept habitats built to resemble their natural surroundings. Observe large animals, such as giraffes and hippos, and small creatures like lizards and meerkats. You'll find a restaurant inside the zoo, as well as a picnic area for those who prefer to bring their own snacks. The site features wheelchair-accessible facilities and changing rooms for parents with small children. While dogs are not allowed on site, a designated pet area lets your furry friend wait outside until you finish your tour. Put Parco Zoo Falconara and other Falconara Marittima attractions into our Falconara Marittima online travel route planner , and watch your holiday take shape.

Ottima gita al Parco zoo di Falconara, pieno di percorsi e tanti animali e piccoli spazi ogni tot metri con panchine x sedersi e due spazi con giochi per i nostri piccoli bimbi. The only thing I didn't like is zoo Hippo habitat too small. The restaurant menu adult 15 euro, babies do not remember well the age 2, children 10 € drinks not included. 2 first choice a bit too few ... even plain pasta x smaller and the pasta with tomato sauce was very sour ... various side dishes but not good ... roasted potatoes heat and heated dry then, ditto veggies to roasted chicken cold beans etc. Sincerely 15 too over the top even without a bottle of water and coffee included. Restaurant rating 2.

The only sore point is the location: the whole zoo is divided into downhill and then uphill exit, and the trails are all about sand and pebbles, which for kids equals band-aid.

lo zoo molto bello, grande. animali ben curati. per lo zoo gira personale e ti spiega tutto. siamo rimasti quando davano da mangiare. Questo tocca vedere. consiglio questo zoo more »very nice zoo, great. animals are well cared for. the zoo turns personal and tells you everything. We were when they were giving out food. Paolo P-CI live quite close to the area and have been there several times. Although over the years has remained fairly equal to itself overall has improved a bit, both in the care of the place than in expansions. Don't make me crazy zoos in General, see caged animals is never a pretty sight, but they are also the only way to get to know much of the animal world. Apart from ethical questions so the place is well maintained although some teca, type of reptiles, I find it a little neglected. The visit is definitely fun, especially for children and for adults who have never had the opportunity to travel to exotic places and overall provides a culture to the people in this regard. What I didn't like is the behavior of many visitors (especially Italians) towards animals. The Park in my opinion should compel to follow certain rules of conduct because seeing continually children banging on the shrines of reptiles or annoy animals is really the opposite of that culture that I think a place like this should offer. Call the Park to put clear signs at the facility and to attract those visitors that annoy the animals or allow their children to do so.
Mattia LuminiPerfect for little ones, the zoo is really held up well and there are plenty of areas to sit and have a picnic all equipped with children games and bar. The animals are many and all kept well visible. There is a wonderful idea to see cheetahs, a small tunnel only accessible by children (or adults who want to walk on all fours) that takes you inside cheetahs clear but under a glass pyramid and they sometimes come to see toddlers:-) The animation of the Park is in several places and entertainers are really funny and engaging without exceeding. Go there and you will return for sure with friends.
Alessandro EricaRich in animals beutifully, working, friendly management. Park for all ages. Well maintained, clean and ample parking. Simple restaurant but great quality/price. Very affordable subscription!
