  • This church was beautiful! Fabriano is rich with history. San Domenico Church adds to the depth and richness of this place. 
  • The Church was built together with the convent in 1297. It was rebuilt around 1365, with financial aid from the noble family of the Chiavelli. It was rebuilt again after the earthquake in 1741. The old church remained the side, the Bell Tower and the polygonal apse, where you can see the coat of arms of beaded Chiavelli. The Gothic chapel with stories of Saint Ursula is attributed to Allegretto Nuzi and his school (second half of the fourteenth century). In the spacious sacristy frescoes by various artists of the fourteenth century including Allegretto. In the convent of San Domenico two remarkable fifteenth-century cloisters and, inside, the important chapter room decoration painted around 1480 by Antonio da Fabriano.

  • Next to the Museum of paper, by pass, the majestic Church of San Domenico dating from the beginning of 13 century, built in Gothic-Romanesque style, is a decoration of the city! Unfortunately the inside get failed because it was closed!
