  • Interesting and well organized. Perhaps the last room on the medieval period is a bit out of place compared to the rest of the show. Probably still has ample room to grow

  • A good exhibition of archaeological finds during this time if desired, combined with a view of a rarity. A comparison of the historical moments of the State of Chu (that until some time ago it was thought to be a State of fantasy) with incidents of Graeco-Roman civilization. Lacquered wood crafts, rituals for ancestor worship, Beautiful the music room, where you hear sounds and see the reconstructions of ancient instruments. and more ... the exhibition will end in November. The National Museum Atestino is located at the Villa Mocenigo, 11 rooms with various themes on civilization that succeeded to Este, the Paleolithic from middle ages and coming to the Renaissance. Very interesting is worth a visit.

  • Good Archaeology: the old Venetian populations are in the Museum (small enough) a very good visibility. Too bad it's not developed ceramic production, especially porcelain and earthenware produced in Este in the late 18th century. Very friendly staff.

  • Not to be missed for those who want to get an idea where ancient archaeological Venetian. You are archaeological finds of great importance. Also interesting is the section devoted to glass.

  • A little gem this museum that tells the history of Venetian antique origins, the Roman colonization, the evolution in the middle ages and the Renaissance. Some archaeological findings are true masterpieces of jewellery and crafts, burials are impressive and the reconstruction of the temples really atmospheric. Time travel can also involve less erudite visitors, both children and adults. Not to be missed.
