  • The National Museum of Este is undoubtedly a jewel in the city centre with beautiful public gardens. I visited the Museum several times because it is rich in history with thousands of statues and relics from the iron age and especially a priceless painting "La Madonna di Cima da Conegliano"

  • The Museum has two floors. The first floor is dedicated to the first inhabitants of the area, the Euganean Hills and the Veneto, with extensive exhibition of jewelry, vases, statuettes and burials. Downstairs is the Roman section, dedicated to the period roughly from the 1st century BC to the end of the Roman Empire. The ceiling fresco of a Roman House, restored and carried aloft in a room, to provide the exact idea of how it was an inhabitant of the era. Audioguide and wardrobe. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

  • Interesting and well organized. Perhaps the last room on the medieval period is a bit out of place compared to the rest of the show. Probably still has ample room to grow

  • Not to be missed for those who want to get an idea where ancient archaeological Venetian. You are archaeological finds of great importance. Also interesting is the section devoted to glass.

  • A little gem this museum that tells the history of Venetian antique origins, the Roman colonization, the evolution in the middle ages and the Renaissance. Some archaeological findings are true masterpieces of jewellery and crafts, burials are impressive and the reconstruction of the temples really atmospheric. Time travel can also involve less erudite visitors, both children and adults. Not to be missed.
