I returned to the Museum after the guided tour of the necropolis in via Santo Stefano. I could pay more attention to the exhibits, especially the rich tomb of room VI. Visit the Museum atestino is always a pleasure. On the first floor is the section of Paleoveneti, while on the ground floor there is the Roman section. The findings are interesting, well exposed and with good explanatory apparatus. Recommend a visit here.View original -
Questo museo è rinomato in particolar modo per i reperti della civiltà paleoveneta e indubbiamente essi costituiscono la parte forte della collezione. Imperdibili quindi le stanze superiori, con i man... more »
This museum is renowned particularly for artifacts from the paleovenetian civilization and certainly they constitute part of the collection. Guests then the superior rooms, with the oldest artifacts. Very important plank of Este, two bronze fragments inscribed in venetic, more important character witness of Scripture of this population. Stands out then the refined craftsmanship and expertise masterpiece Situla welcome, good taste. On the ground floor makes his entrance Rome with all its communicative power but objectively without particularly striking examples. Last room that looks like a civic and national collection, with a beautiful work of Cima da Conegliano. Modern audio guides that are activated after scanning the room number. Nominal price, the reduction brings the cost to €2.50 figure more than reasonable for a visit after all good quality. Classic layout, with some valuable points. Splendid integration in the context of the historical center, reduced the Castle and its Park.View original -

These small museums all over Italy often hide treasures of great interest. Here the chronological arrangement is very effective in telling the history of the area and the historical development that has characterized. Some exhibits are really authentic (see the medical supplies I had only seen in Rimini). Useful and simple pen with guide.View original

Interesting museum to visit, the entrance is free for the archeology and architecture students, there is some pieces of the medieval age, you can take a pictures but without flash, there is also a wonderful terrace from where you can have a beautiful landscapes about the town and even the castel, I suggest you to take a look on this establishment if you visit Este.

Lovely Museum, illustrating in just over 2 hours the history of paleoveneti from the Neolithic to the domain of the Roman Empire. A totally independent and extremely important civilization, like Etruscan coeval. The Museum is accessible at various levels: the audio guide (available for free) illustrates the most important pieces and salt present in summary form in individual cases. Further details are left to read the fact sheets or the explanation of the individual pieces on display. I never imagined that an ethnographic museum could be so interesting.View original

Interesting Museum to visit, met in scoring much interest even by my girls. We were taking advantage of the first Sunday of the month (free entry).View original

Nice Museum that chronicles the origins of settlements in the area of the Euganean Hills, from the Paleolithic to the Roman period. Well organized, has a free audio guide (just leave a document) that explains the various room room exhibits present.View original

Museum maintained and renovated. The path unfolds in chronological order the dawn of civilization into submission by the local of Rome and its culture, and ending with the local works from the middle ages to the 20th century. Seven thousand years ahead nicely in a couple of hours.View original
