  • We have happened by accident by taking a tour around the Vajont dam. I was pleasantly surprised and immediately found it to arrive at a place that has something unusual, before a group of modern buildings that would stop if it weren't for the surprise to find a Museum of contemporary art and just behind the real village of stone, narrow streets passable only on foot , which is also one of its strengths. A place that is special because people who work there and makes it live, here you will find Teresa, who is the soul of Casso, a village a few dozen inhabitants. Helpful and generous in sharing his memories and the history of the place, ready to suggest some activities or stroll around. In his small but cozy market that grows from time to time you will share a table with other tourists and simple but excellent local produce such as cheeses and meats, don't miss the gourmet touch of onion jam. Thanks Teresa.

  • Must see after visiting the Vajont dam. Local products of the Friulian Dolomites, great mulled wine and great company of Ms Maria Theresia. The atmosphere that is created with other patrons is unique: you share stories and experiences. To try out.

  • After returning from a visit there's memory stretched to ferrata to the small town of Casso. The restaurant is located in the middle of the village. The restaurant is very small, I think there are 10 seats. The atmosphere is unique, history and tradition come together and are in the hostess Teresa a great start even before you taste the food. It serves platters of cold cuts and cheese and not real hot but worth sampling the goodies available to the MARKET. Honest price
