  • In Ercolano there except for Hercaluneum to visit not much nice. The Villa has surprised us positive. The EUR 3 admission have paid off.

  • What you don't expect: an elegant villa, of fine architecture with a beautiful park, really to be enchanted. Credit goes to whoever restored and to those who care. Really interesting we remain fascinated by the arches, gardens, by the stairs, even from the simplest of fountains. A must visit!

  • The "Cappello del prete" is a screenplay of 1970 set in Naples. For those who want to take the new flavor go on Youtube to watch the first round where, per minute 44 and 44 '' about, there is a ruin, indeed come through the rubble. That was 50 years ago Villa Campolieto. Today, beautifully restored in every detail is the flagship of the work done for the recovery of the vesuvian villas. Admire the beautiful landscaped garden. You reach the great beauty in the monumental scale of the Grand Vanvitelli inspired by that of the Palace of Caserta. Much has been achieved, much remains to be done. But the road is the right one to the face of those who say everything is wrong ... that everything has to be redone ... ...

  • Beautiful Villa and amazing location. currently (04/2016) undergoing renovation so be sure to check opening hours and visitable areas
  • .. Villa Campolieto represents one of the most famous villas of cc.dd. Golden mile road was named for the large number of villas built between the late late ' 500 and the beginning of ' 900. Represent a collection of history and nature, with the Neapolitan ' 700 architecture, painting and sculpture, although much of their immense artistic heritage no longer exists. The villas of miglio d'Oro represent milestones of the marvellous spectacle of nature that welcomed travelers from all over Europe who flocked to enjoy this show. It would be nice, someday, that this collection of art, nature, antiquity, to come back one day to make that fragment by then!

  • Beautiful bourbon period of the golden mile. Lacks furniture but the visit is very pleasing to the beauty of the architecture, frescoes, gardens, terraces and sea views.
