  • Be aware opening times, it was closed between about 12.30 and 3.30 but I caught it as it opened and it is a lovely church, worth a look. Special visit? maybe not, but if you are passing pop in.  more »
  • .......it was shut. All the information assured us it would be open, but no. Locked up tight. Enna isn't an inspiring place.  more »
  • This is a very plain church and not worth going out of your way to see. Not much here at the church or in the town of Enna.  more »

  • If you pass by Enna and see the Cathedral, do not be put off by its simple outside facade. Inside it is stunning. If the main entrance door is closed, there is a little one on the side.
  • A long time ago very popular now demoralized as a place

  • In 1307 the Queen Leonor of Aragon did raise the duomo to venerate the Virgin Mary. In 1449 was the subject of a massive fire that destroyed it completely, leaving only the apse and part of the right side.
