  • Nice to visit, thought by many experts to be the most imposing and ancient castle of Sicily, although they remain only the outer walls and the Tower of Pisa. The latter is open to the public through a steep climb up to the terrace which is located at the top of the tower. From here you can watch the perimeter walls of the castle to understand the Majesty that had to have the Castle and the breathtaking views of the surrounding area, which is great. Certainly worth a detour from the highway to visit it.

  • Visit of passage at the castle of Lombardy of which, however, only the walls and little else, including a very tall tower from which one can enjoy an extraordinary view over half of Sicily; hills with towns have climbed up to the extreme, and we even saw snow-covered Mount Etna in the distance.

  • I mean, aside from the cold and wind (4° C), the place is beautiful and impressive, being the highest point in Enna with a breathtaking view. Through a very helpful guide who drove us all the way, we became aware of very interesting historical details. I highly recommend you check them out.

  • Ancient ruins with tons of history. Not in a good shape though due lack of funding. . Nice views but wouldnt spent much time here.
  • Great for the view but nothing else Not worth your trip up the hill
  • Great site. My kids were really excited to be in a real castle. We were fortunate enough to be in the clouds while we were up there. There is plenty of free parking and the site itself is free to all visitors.
  • Visited this castle. Amazing view, and still in great shape. We had a great tour guide.
  • Quiet and beautiful...friendly and FREE guides!
