  • Found by my daughter, we made a visit with the children, who, keeping took advantage of the guided tour, were thrilled. Museum interesting and pretty well done, despite the limitations of the building. Also valid space and the environment for the picnic

  • I was there as a child, precisely were the first 80 years, I brought my uncle who was a barman at the bristol buja in abano, where also lived, was the first Aviation Museum I visited, and I came from Naples, and my uncle knowing of my hobby made my happiness. I remember a place extremely ordered, and with historical notes really high level than it usually was on magazines, and then parts of modern instrumentation and early 900 planes, just in its infancy. Anyway I have to go back and stay with family, in life certain emotions are priceless, surely I shall raise many more memories of various "le bourget, ILA, farnborough ect ect", though later in life I switched to another element a lot more familiar as the sea, because now I'm a naval officer. Thanks, see you soon

  • The castle of San Pelagio, a few kilometers from Abano Terme, is the Museum of the air, where it shows the History of the air force (from Leonardo da Vinci to the present day). In a succession of halls are exposed models, photographs, details of aircraft, engines, aerial view, up to the Hall in which it was designed the historic "flight over Vienna" by the Hero Poet Gabriele D'Annunzio. The reconstruction of the event is very likely due to mannequins with military uniforms of the time. The visit takes a couple of hours in all, thanks to the many historical artifacts. In the garden showcases aircraft. Interesting the garden with a lovely maze. Very interesting and rewarding for both adults and children. Not to compare oneself to large museums dedicated to aeronautics, but appreciate the whole collection on display.
