Lago di Dobbiaco, Dobbiaco

4.6
Take a serene hike around placid Lago di Dobbiaco, which lies at the base of piney hills. A result of a landslide that blocked the Rienza River, this clear alpine lake is known for its abundance of fish--you can purchase a license on site. Paddleboat rides and guided tours are also available--both are great ways to see the swans and other wildlife that call this lake home. A snack bar at the water's edge offers refreshments and a place to relax, and a campground invites visitors to stay the night. Continue along the lakeside path to find a carefully maintained World War I soldiers' cemetery. • Lake dobbiacco in winter is a show that you should not give up, especially if there are already 50 cm of snow and it's snowing again. The walk running through it in its perimeter is easy and impressive. The Lake is partly frozen and where it isn't, there are ducks and swans that gracefully roaring. The mountains that surround the white Crown and the crisp air accompanies the crisp footsteps on the snowy trail. Nice nice not to be missed.

Within walking distance of Lake-side promenade and uncharacteristic Italy views. As a Scandinavian fjord and came across the stunning views are wrong. Fantastic scenery similar to the fjord Lakes even after the rain could see much more cloudy weather after the rain because of very large satisfied.

  • Its beauty is not related to its size. A lake surrounded by nature with bridges and full of animals. Its waters are very cold and you can browse with pedal boats.
