  • In a large group we visited the winery and the Museum accompanied by one of the daughters of the owner who courteously and patiently answered all questions of the participants. At the end of the tour we were treated to a taste of all of their wines with some nibbles. If the area is worth a visit to buy wines that have prices.

  • Cascina Rossa was a pleasant surprise: we were greeted by the owner like we were old friends, we did visit the Museum of peasant art of his family, where ancient tools and old objects testify to almost a century of love for viticulture and the land. Then we moved on to the area of vats and wine making and finally in the tasting room where we sampled delicious wines like barolo, dolcetto and an extraordinary Muscat. Excellent also the hazelnuts that belong to the family land Veglio. We purchased wine and hazelnuts at very reasonable prices. I absolutely recommend a visit for an immersion in the wisdom and peasant industriousness of Langhe Piedmont

  • The extensive list of "goodies" cultural, tourist, historical, religious, scenery and food and wine, which constituted the life plan of our group (almost fifty people of the third age) to the Langhe, Roero and Monferrato, a specific report deserves the Museum of the vine and of civilization created by family Veglio at la Cascina Valle Red Tallonia Diano d'Alba , home of the important wine production of the owners for several generations. The Museum, in fact, "tells" the story of peasant life, productive and entrepreneurial family, exposing a rich collection of tools, furniture, toys, wagons and tools, that allows to know the activities of the cellar master, the breeder and of the farmer, the butcher, also thanks to the projection of an interesting corporate video. The welcome and hospitality have been particularly warm; very appreciated was the tasting of barolo, nebbiolo, dolcetto and other great wines from the estate vineyards.
