  • To be a visit to offer the public outside area has yet to travel far, the few environments that can be visited and interest cannot be covered and obscured by panels and local initiatives, perhaps to provide more spaces ... of course it is necessary to pass the time but certainly not venture into wineries really uninteresting and not presentable.

  • the whole complex is located inside the City Park of Desio. Recommend to visit the villa Tan just entering the front gate of the Park and head towards the same to have a striking vision between trees and green meadows. Don't miss the view of the Interior with its architectural marvels-possible even with a guided tour to see the sotterraneì. further advice can visit on the same day the "mine of Pio Mariani" building in the same complex of villa Tan but today granted to private property. You can find not only a wonderful structure also a Museum of objects and precious stones and a store.

  • Our RAID in Desio was aimed at the visit of Villa Cusani Tittoni Traversi, which, although it was not opened (it is very little) for guided tours, harboured some exhibitions, art exhibitions and a mycological downstairs to the main floors. These events have allowed us to inspect all the part open to the public. Leaving aside the narrative of what was once a beautiful villa in the past, its history, characters that I host: statesmen, Kings, writers such as Stendhal, composers such as Bellini and actors not only in Italian history. but international. There is a lot of material about it, so I will just communicate my impressions of majestic, wide and sumptuous, with a large courtyard, does not hide a certain decay, that this remodelling, uses various and the passage of time contributed. The ground-floor mail impresses the pomp is excessive and redundant. In short, the visitor is surrounded by luxury, but a bit cloying and excessive. Lacking a unified style for the decoration of interiors. In the rooms of the ground floor are adopted various stylistic patterns (Moorish, neo-Renaissance, neo-classical, etc.), as if to make an impression at all costs. The main floor (which now houses the permanent exhibition, the sculptor's donation Sacramento), doesn't seem to communicate with the layer below it: what is left, which I don't believe to be the original, highlights frescoed ceilings more sober and harmonious; some of them are just remarkable. It was nice to visit this aristocratic residence, but I expected more uniformity and order. 5 points as represented in town and for its original splendour that characterized. 3 for the current and the State of preservation, which I understand anyway, because it is not easy to keep a work so majestic.
