  • We were fortunate to have help for just the two of us. The monument is immaculately maintained and content is distressing considering how many remains of Austro Hungarian and Italian soldiers there is collected. Deserves a guided the price is almost negligible.

  • It was the first time I visited an ossuary and I was pretty ignorant on the subject. We opted for the guided tour and it was a choice, as it perceives that Esther is really passionate and explained several details, by sending us your enthusiasm. The place is very nice and scenic, held up well, interesting historical representation at the end, where you see the two main protagonists of that battle that tell the event, everyone lived from their point of view. Well worth a visit.

  • Historical reference of high importance in the 19th century for country Italian, well kept and maintained by trained staff explaining to visitors the story is the anecdotes concerning him. In addition to storing numerous bones of soldiers who fought around, do you have any bulletin board with ancient relics of the same battles and being geographically located above a strategic Hill, offers a nice panoramic 360° and the observation point South-East part of Lake Garda anymore. The panorama offers a view on the morainic hills (you see the rock of Solferino), a beautiful lesson of the Alps (from West to East are recognized mount William on Lake Iseo, monte Maddalena on the city of Brescia, the Pizzocolo on Lake Garda, some peaks of the Adamello, monte Baldo between Lake Garda and Val d'adige, Lessinia and piccole Dolomiti (Carega) further to the West Vicenza, hills and more ... Of course, in the days of good visibility, you notice South Apennine Toscoemiliani skyline with the monte Cimone and not only ...

  • It would have been nice to visit but it was closed without any explanation. Searching on the internet I learned that in my view unnecessary bureaucratic issues to a monument so important cannot be visited! Deep disappointment of our beautiful Italy! I hope to be able to visit as soon as Michael and Maurice
