  • to visit quietly and preparing to travel in the remote past together with our forefathers and recognize the validity of the Gospel message that they had in dealing with religious and social issues of the day, where poverty and the absence of the rule was the cause of misery and disease. The brotherhood of St. James and St. SEBASTIANO shined his mercy towards the path of Cuneo community social redemption. Besides art in paintings and objects of devotion evinced the profound faith of those generations since the late Middle Ages to the present day.

  • Those who want to know the story of Wedge cannot omit a visit to the Diocesan Museum, recently cleared up thanks to the passion for art. the culture and history of Don Fambrough pastor of the Church of St. Ambrose, from which the san Sebastian Church adjoining the Museum depends. The Roman Catholic Diocese of Cuneo is celebrating the 200 years since its founding and the Diocesan Museum is the treasure chest through which retrace the most significant events of this history, as well as the outward signs in memory of Pope Pius VII from Cuneo after his "deportation" in France, returning to Rome. Besides sacred items such as embroidered vestments in gold and silver, monstrances and chalices, witnesses of a church rich though, can be admired paintings and portraits of eminent men of the ' 700 and ' 800, The Museum Shop offers the opportunity to buy postcards and souvenirs to remember a visit that aita certainly better understand and learn about the history of this city.

  • A beautiful reality present in the city of Cuneo, prepared with care and well managed thanks to the work of many volunteers. The Museum does not host certainly great masterpieces but is very accurate and allows you to relive many milestones of local history closely entwined with the vicissitudes of the Church. A gem that should be visited, especially by residents in the capital and its surroundings.
