  • Find that when you want a bunch of crumbling stones put back in the right place submit to view a beautiful castle, congratulations to the municipality.

  • Particular place, with a Manor practically nestled amid tall 2 rock outcroppings. The walk to reach it is simple, no more than 20 minutes, and pleasant. Once you arrive you can enjoy a beautiful landscape dominated by green, but if you want a good guide can explain the history of the Castle. I hope soon to give the chance to visit the tower because the view from the spur higher must be spectacular. Recommended for a trip outside the city different. Bring sandwiches because there is nothing within a few km.

  • Enticed by what I read on the website of the municipality of Crocefieschi, I had the bad idea to climb the mountain Castle back from a wonderful trip to the rocks of Reopasso and Mount Royal. Coming from Reopasso I decided to make the turn in a clockwise direction, following the designation by marker on a stone. The flyer mentions yellow markings but I have not seen. I followed the dirt road up to a shed and then I climbed to the eye in the middle of the Woods. I ran into a little path with faded blue white markings that led me to the Summit. The ruins of the tower are rather disappointing: there are only a few foundation stones with holes and an explanatory sign. A few meters further there is a clearing with 2 beautiful picnic tables and a beautiful panoramic view over the Val Vobbia the castle of stone. I followed the path and trail, descending to the point where I started. Basically I lost (because there is no reporting!) a turning on the left into the Woods 50 meters after the start of the dirt road. I would recommend an urgent risegnalazione and cleaning of the trail.
