  • This pretty much discreet town worth a visit with several points of interest including its civic Museum, which, in a beautiful Palace, offers a large collection of classic Italian painting with highlight a Caravaggio, "meditation of San Francesco" superb who, for admirers of the artist, is worth only a visit. On 4 levels, beautiful Chinese porcelain, beautiful paintings on wood panels, large collection of violins and zither. Cremona, particularly calm in July, seems ignored by tourists, very few people in town and no one in this interesting Museum, it is a shame.

  • The picture gallery of the Museo Civico Ala Ponzone is housed in the 16th-century palazzo Affaitati. A recent project has led to the opening of the Hall of the Sinker that contains the precious inlaid wardrobe, a masterpiece of Renaissance osmia, executed for the Cathedral of Cremona between 1477 and 1480 by the Mantuan artist Giovanni Maria da Piadena, known as il Platina. The Museum also houses the rooms of Music which is the collection of historical instruments of Carlo Alberto Capone, one of the most important collections of stringed instruments for quality, rarity and conservation status of its constituent instruments. The exhibition is on four floors, the ticket fee is 7 euros, better check the opening times.

  • Very interesting collection with a nice focus on artists levers and lombardi. Shame about the spotlights a bit annoying in some works and noisy air conditioning system estraneamente in some rooms. In General, however, the Museum worth visiting.

  • Awesome stradivari collection. Must see.
  • Very interesting place and city. Lot of music related statues and work shops, to include violin builders.
  • Very nice and interesting, contains paintings and sculptures from the middle ages to the twentieth century; at the entrance there is a small collection of archaeological finds. The Museum was founded in the 19th century by Marquis Sigismondo Ala Ponzone, who donated to the city of Cremona his entire art collection. The most famous works are the paintings by Caravaggio and Arcimboldo, but deserve attention even the blades of Bembo, Genovesino and the wonderful inlaid wardrobe Sinker. On the ground floor, at the bottom of the garden, you can also visit the Museum of natural history.
