  • On a trip to town we walked to see this beautiful Museum. Very easy to turn very spacious rooms, paintings up nicely. Also musical instruments and ceramics were beautiful, congratulations. Staff helpful, just a nice visit.

  • The Museum is empty on the public side. It is overcrowded side works. There are enough beautiful things, others interesting, others funny, many without interest, but level masterpieces, there are two and only two that are worth visiting: a Caravaggio and an Arcimboldo. However, the Museum has lent Caravaggio... The interest of a detour to Cremona in is significantly reduced and the museum looks empty. And the presentation of the Arcimboldo seems choke table that deserves more delicate because his genius is inseparable some humility and a healthy dose of fantasy. In any case, lend the Caravaggio, that seems very dismissive to those who make the effort to visit this Museum, which is far from being also interesting enough to deserve to choose to visit the Museum during a visit to the Italy North through Cremona (Fortunately, the Duomo square is very beautiful but that's about it). Disappointing!

  • The museo civico Ala Ponzone despite being little known is worth a visit if only for the presence of two paintings of two biggest European painters: the St. Francis by Caravaggio and the gardener of Arcimboldo. The Museum, however, is not limited to these two masterpieces, has works by Nuvolone, a section of modern art is an extensive collection of violins, guitars and other musical instruments; all this within the halls of this valuable historical building.
