  • Arriving at Pian di Monte, from here the path that after about 45 minutes (already accompanied by a guide) leads to the East entrance of the caves. After having fallen down a staircase of about thirty meters, begins the path inside the cave, without major pitfalls but aided by wire rope; everything is easily accessible, despite the entrance has a certain emotional impact for those there is used. The cave is of course less spectacular in nearby Frasassi, but experience has a very different character: here one experiences in a more natural and direct contact with the environment of the cave, which is illuminated by lights which show the most truthful concretions neutral as possible. Moreover, we visited the caves in a group of seven people, including Guide: an experience clearly more intimate than the hordes of tourists of Frasassi. Go inter alia the compliments my and my girlfriend to drive Tatiana, which was nice, prepared and available.
