  • As a child I loved the Cathedral of my severe Cathedral with Cosenza, the tomb of Isabella of Aragon in a sarcophagus with glass visible inside and the Byzantine cross. Austere appearance of bare stone, but immense in a historical square with old buildings

  • I'm not a lover of churches and cathedrals. For one reason or un0altra, I have seen many. Decorated, luxurious, opulent. The Cathedral of Cosenza is, for me, a true place of meditation and prayer, despite the grandeur, you feel enveloped, rassicurat and especially transported back in time when the cathedrals were dedicated to prayer and meditation. Marbles, friezes, frescoes, gold details and magnificence, they become Museum, ostentation and especially "distraction". Here you go back to the middle ages and you feel the faith, quiet, intimate and solemn. Majestic and content, simple and impressive.

  • I am of the opinion (probably too subjective) that the Cathedral of Cosenza is among the most beautiful in Italy. The exterior is very refined and the Interior oozes history. I keep myself on the four stars only because there is no competent guide can explain the story. Even the Tour Bus to Discover Cosenza Park near the building. We must enhance the beauty of Cosenza.
