  • Beautiful historic building, artistically interesting ... a little gem in Correggio. Don't forget to visit it. Worth it!

  • This elegant Palace was built in the first decade of the ' 500 and features a brick façade Rosé with a large central portal in marble with grotesque decoration and allegories of great value. From the large arcaded courtyard, where two wells and a lion grave dating back to Roman times, leads to the main floor of the building. Very interesting the "Sala del Camino" embellished, as well as an impressive marble fireplace, coffered ceiling very attractive and a frieze painted with mythological figures. Currently the Palace houses the public library and the Civic Museum

  • The Palace stands imperiously between the nearby church of San Quirino and theater Asioli on via Cavour in the heart of Correggio. Its Portal and its architecture (the ferrarese architect Biagio Rossetti is responsible, among others, the building of nearby Gualtieri) is truly remarkable and deserves more than a selfie. Inside then no shortage of opportunities to continue taking pictures. Small but interesting treasure trove is the Museum which houses among other works a Christ by Mantegna and the rich library of ancient texts. A true immersion in the world of the Renaissance.
