  • the Museum is housed in the Prince's Palace and houses, plus sporadic archaeological finds from the Roman period and the early Middle Ages, a collection of paintings, sculptures and reliquaries. One of the most important works is the Redeemer of Mantegna alongside three small works by Correggio, in a beautiful Lucrezia di Guido Reni, just to name a few. Interesting Flemish tapestries of exquisite workmanship. Too bad that many have been deprived of the border, possibly to extract additional decorations. I found very interesting the bottom of Camillo Bertolini, architect and designer, active in the first half of the 20th century. 700 drawings of various subjects, but those are for me the most interesting are those relating to interior furnishings

  • Museum that slowly you are enriched with works of great artists. Fondness for our beloved countryman Antonio allegri called il Correggio-the face of Christ by Mantegna's most important work displayed here. Then other painters and sculptors from various eras make the Museum a treat seeing absolutely Addios

  • The Museum is housed in the Prince's Palace, home of da Correggio whose coat of arms dominates the beautiful front door. Over the years the Palace was ruined and only at the beginning of the year 2000 has returned to live as a Museum of archaeology and art. The tour starts from a Roman tomb and is completed by finds in the area of Correggio. There are works of art that testify to the life of a small Court of the 1500-1600. A beautiful and important work of Andrea Mantegna: The Redeemer. Equally nice and bright on "Tapestry Hall" with beautiful works of Flemish art. Admire the collection of coins minted by the Mint of Correggio and sacred paintings, 18th century. Curious and interesting the last two rooms one of which is devoted to figurative art. Also of interest is the palazzo: sightseeing there is the Sala del camino "with impressive fireplace that brings the family coat of arms. Very beautiful coffered ceilings and unique is the frieze, in fresco, dated and Francesca coat of arms of Brandenburg, wife of count.
