  • Impressive and interesting, rich in history, evolved over the years and underwent a major restoration. The area is accessible only on the ground floor, open the modest sum of 5 euros. And that's it. Unfortunately there is a guide and a few illustrative signs are really insufficient to provide any idea of what you see and what there was in the areas visited. In addition to the deficiency described you add the presence (or absence) of personnel dedicated solely to collecting the obolus for access, incapable of providing information and mostly helpful. I hope that the Administration do something to provide to the city and visitors with a service that makes a great resource.

  • they didn't visit only the ground floor, a series of empty corridors, because the upper floors were being renovated. €5 expenditure per head!

  • Saturday September .2 weather brings rain, I have friends for dinner and I need an idea to turn the evening. I've been thinking about this since June but the heat has always retained, now I have no excuse. Call it the castle of Copertino and inform me timetables: open every morning (and afternoon?) But today, exceptionally, is open from 20 at 22.30. My after dinner will be perfect. We are at 5, we enter the riparandoci Castle from the rain and we begin our journey into another dimension. The fortified walls prevent you hear any noise, renovation and restoration are obvious as we enter in the various rooms and modern lighting almost seems a sour note in the splendor of the 13th century. We continue the visit to the chapel of San Marco and the various corridors leading to the porch. We take some pictures but we are captivated by the Majesty of the place and we regret not being able to access the upper floors: I heard on the roof there is a decent grape cultivation and that, according to the cantina sociale della città, have managed to recover branches existing centuries ago getting fine wine. The visit is over, it stopped raining, if my brain were made to Jig a good portion would be occupied by this wonder, I will just reopen the upper floors: I want to see where he can get the knowledge and skills of a military architect.

  • Nice place. Good little wine tasting just by it as well.

  • Very nice place, but undervalued. It would take a guide or more explanation on what you visit. Is of utmost historical and artistic importance but for what you can see (one on the ground) 5 euros per person (kids are free) are perhaps too many. The Castle seen from the outside really deserves and it is fascinating, it would be fascinating to visit it in its entirety.

  • Castle of Norman origin, rebuilt from Maine on behalf of Carney in the sixteenth century ... the Castle and renovated good ... a little empty inside it seems a bit overstated the entrance price ... still nice ...
