  • A great look at the history of the region as well as the Roman Empire and the Christian Church during the Middle Ages. 
  • Impressive frescoed Hall which stands in Conegliano as the Palazzo della Ragione is in Padua, with the difference that here is free. The part that struck me most was the "reimagining" of prints by Durer of the small and great passion, a unique combination between northern Italian Renaissance painting and sweetness and brightness. Our visit was made even better by the volunteers who narrated some historical facts and revealed details that otherwise would have escaped (as the missing face at the last supper and the Scorpion ....).
