  • The Castle appearing with massive forms, offers its stands a magnificent panoramic view over the village and the upper Val di Taro. An ancient building (its origins date back to before the year 1000), held for a long time the Malaspina family, the castle is the visitor very well maintained and cared for with the elegance of the garden paths and statues in the Park. Prepared and sympathetic guide appeared and particularly interesting, as infrequent, are showing the Museum of Freemasonry (only in Italy) and that of torture.

  • Absolutely recommend a visit to this castle, also because it is the only attraction of the place. Guided tour costs 7 euros very detailed, but never boring; smooth and engaging. The guide very nice and patient. We expected more medieval atmosphere, but having been inhabited and renovated by a Marquise who made a shade more modern with the various changes and various items purchased during his travels, he has lost a little over the years, the original style. Also with your ticket purchase, you get a small discount for lunch at the restaurant "The Restaurant" at the foot of the Castle.

  • We stayed one night with the package "romantic weekend" in suite. Outside the castle is wonderful, calculating that it has more than 1200 years was arranged very well. The Council warmly to first make a guided tour and then go to the room otherwise you wont be disappointed from the furnishings, but by one understands why. I have to give a big note on Ms Francesca which was yummy and very professional and friendly and instructive guide that makes the rounds at the same time, not the same can be said of their co-workers so much that in the package there was breakfast included in the room and it was a bit of a tragedy, both in the way we serve you for forgetfulness. Head to the hotel restaurant do it, it's nothing for the local but the meat cooks very well. Last note for those who own the hotel, remove from the suite Grimaldi empty picture frame, it doesn't make any sense. Overall a weekend to do it.

  • Buon ristorante, personale gentile,
  • X the wonderful story, it's the only place in Europe with a Masonic Museum and then times the beauty of the surrounding places. Peace and relaxation

  • Very nice outside, the interiors have been furnished by a Duchess who has upset completely the origins.
