  • A small museum. Rather flat, very nice and informative, beautiful interior, aristocratic atmosphere.

  • The lake is amazing and bla bla, but... y'all ever heard of the Lepontians? This Celtic people lived in Northern Italy before the Romans. They left us: a bronze chariot buried with its owner, inscribed stelai (we can read but not understand them well), metal dolls, boats, even ear-cleaners... And everything is here. Plus Roman stuff plus modern stuff: no, there's not only the lake.
  • Beautiful big and well assorted Museum exhibits both ancient and more recent. Nice the part dedicated to ancient Rome and the pre-unification. Very good.
