  • worth having a nice walk about in the centre of Comiso, place was closed on Saturday monring but it is still worth a nice walk around the place.
  • The grandeur of the Cathedral Church of Comiso, together to the nearby SS Annunziata, hits, as well as the Baroque splendour of the Interior, worthy of a cathedral. Magnificent ceiling with stucco motifs and large canvases. The General brightness amplifies the sense of grandeur of the structure. Not to be missed!

  • Beautiful example of 18th Century architecture and one of the shining reminders of what a devout Catholic town this is, grand in very scale, much more than the town, itself
  • After the terrible earthquake of 1693 it was destroyed and rebuilt in 1699 by the generous contribution of count Balthasar IV hake.
