  • The grain market is part of the architectural heritage of Comacchio. But what you will certainly remember in, is this plaque of 1884 sealed on its façade that pays tribute to the action of the people of Comacchio helped to Garibaldi and his troops, refugees in the lagoon, hunted by the Austrians on 2 August 1843. The antiquity of this plate, its whiteness that contrasts perfectly with the red brick façade of the Hall, and especially the sentence very literary, very epic of this commemoration, the enthusiasm that comes from for the liberator of peoples, give a little more historical depth to this building. So don't miss this tribute to the people of Comacchio and its heroes, Garibaldi.
