  • This large Karst sinkhole forms a singular natural rarity, unique in Europe for its size: circumference of about 300 meters and depth of 60. The bottom of the well is covered by vegetation and has some curious stalactites curves, wind from the side tunnels probably generated amending the deposition of lime crystals. The bottom is probably connected with the caves themselves, through an extensive system of underground passages. Entrance cost 2 euro open until 17. The path does not last long, but is really impressive. Too bad it's not well known would be valued much more this whole area.

  • Legend has it that of wheat fell to the Earth by opening batsmen this chasm, which today is kept in a location that is part of the caves of Collepardo, too bad there is an opportunity to get off the bottom

  • The place itself is also fascinating (if you find it) but in a few years there will be more. It is almost abandoned. There is a keeper that tells how things went (according to him) and nothing more. The vegetation is covering everything and nobody does anything because there is no money.
