There is a guided tour though along the way (groomed and clean) every ruin in detail is explained by the explanatory and tickets brushes (I recommend the combined ticket with the Fort of Montecchio North) you can hear a short general explanation. The view is very nice, especially one can admire the Adda River which flows into the Lake. The directions are well laid out along the way and there is parking in the immediate vicinity besides the road, up the bar of entry to the short path that leads to the entrance of the Fort, is neither too tight nor impervious.show original

Furthermore, the fort in part restored, but also partly in decline. However, you will get a good impression of what it must have been earlier. The fortress is of course on a tactical beautiful point where you both over much of Lake Como and the surrounding area looks out and away Plan di Spluga. This kind of historical sites may get a little more attention of the local authorities, because here was nevertheless made history.show original

Andrea BarzantiNear Sorico Fort Fuentes is the ruins of an ancient fortress used by the Italian army during World War I. It can be reached with a short walk on a gravel road from where you parked the car. Careful not to make mistakes with the small farm of the same name and is just below. The Fort although not who knows what attractions is impressive and dominates the Valley from a location where you can enjoy a splendid view on Lake Como. The visit is recommended sicuranente and remember that the entry is free of charge and you can make a cumulative ticket for visiting Fort Montecchio located near them.show original
