  • The Fort itself is interesting from a historical point of view, but the best bit is that, with Lake and mountain views. Big advantage: no need to make big climb or climbs because access is relatively easy

  • The fortress was built in the 17 century, was used as a military facility during World War I. There are now ruins.

  • Di Fujentas fortress was built at the beginning of the 17 century and for a time was in the hands of ... the Spaniards. Later it was used during the first world war. Now it is rather lonely place among the ruins, not to say that impressed by something.

  • Near Sorico Fort Fuentes is the ruins of an ancient fortress used by the Italian army during World War I. It can be reached with a short walk on a gravel road from where you parked the car. Careful not to make mistakes with the small farm of the same name and is just below. The Fort although not who knows what attractions is impressive and dominates the Valley from a location where you can enjoy a splendid view on Lake Como. The visit is recommended sicuranente and remember that the entry is free of charge and you can make a cumulative ticket for visiting Fort Montecchio located near them.

  • It is worth the visit and read a little history. From the hills, you see the Alps and have a very good picture of the Alps
